Are the old IRIS loop expanders compatible with the new iRIS4 and iRIS8 panels?
Yes, they are fully compatible.
Which fire alarm panels support the cloud functionality?
Only iRIS4 and iRIS8 (from FW version 1.1.1 and above) support the cloud. The new generation of Simpo (Simpo-X) will also feature Cloud.
How many Natron Wireless Gateway modules can be connected to an addressable fire alarm panel?
You can connect up to 5 Natron Wireless Gateway modules in a single installation, each supporting up to 32 wireless devices.
Is the SPIKA voice evacuation system available for serial connection with all addressable fire alarm panels?
Yes, all current addressable fire alarm panels (iRIS4, iRIS8 and SIMPO) support a serial connection with a SPIKA voice evacuation system. However, an additional EVAC communication module is required for the iRIS4 and SIMPO panels.
How many methods can be used to give an address to a device?
There are several ways to address a device:
- With hand-held programmer;
- With loop tester;
- By using Self addressing procedure(from the control panel);
- By using Auto addressing procedure by ID (from the control panel);
- By using Auto addressing procedure by isolator (from the control panel);

Are the Bravo series wireless devices compatible with the Bravo NEXT control panel?
No, the Bravo series wireless devices are not compatible with the Bravo NEXT control panel. Bravo NEXT only works with PAX series wireless devices.
Which modules and peripheral devices can be connected to an ECLIPSE panels?
Peripheral devices: Keypads (LCD/LED/HMI), Expanders (PGM EXP/Zone EXP/Wireless EXP), Proxy Reader;
Modules: TTE GPRS Standard/Simple/4G, TTE LAN, TTE Combo, Voice Dialer (VD);
How long the ECLIPSE BUS line (cable) can be?
The last peripheral device on the BUS can be up to 1000m away from the control panel, but it might be necessary to use external power supply to provide 12 VDC at the end of the line.
Are all keypads compatible with all Eclipse panels?
Yes, all keypads are fully compatible with all Eclipse series control panels.
How to add a „Service keypad” to an ECLIPSE system?
Connect the new keypad to an Eclipse control panel, either on the BUS, or on the specialized “Service KBD” terminal and press “PROG” button. Now you can use this keypad in ENGINEER and MAINTENANCE modes. After you finish with the programming and disconnect the keypad from the panel, it won’t be kept in its memory.
